A Basingstoke couple have found their dream-sized home for entertaining friends and family at Linden Homes’ Longacre development.
TMF Lead Manager, Sandra Nelson and her partner Barry Wheeler set out on an eight-month long search for a home that met their criteria of a south-facing garden, three double bedrooms and most importantly – an open plan kitchen and dining room for entertaining.
Wanting to upsize from their previous two-bedroom house, Sandra and Barry went to view over 30 properties before finding their perfect home at Longacre, Basingstoke.
Speaking about her newly-built home, Sandra said “The homes at Longacre are amazing and such a good size. We looked at many new builds and the bedrooms and living area were tiny in comparison. The amount of space and the layout of the home is brilliant, Linden Homes has really thought about the needs of a family.
“When we first moved in it was just a house, but we’ve really turned it into a home, whenever we have family and friends over they cannot believe how lovely it is.
“Many new builds do not offer what a family is looking for, but our home is ideal, and Linden Homes were brilliant at keeping us well-informed throughout the entire buying process.”
Sandra and Barry were able to secure their three-bedroom home at Longacre, a new development of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. Longacre is conveniently located just three miles from the centre of the historic market town, whilst the North Wessex Downs Area of Natural Beauty is just a short drive away.
Basingstoke, Hampshire’s largest town is an important economic centre, playing host to the UK headquarters of many international companies. The town is also a local arts hub, with its own cinema and entertainment venues, as well as The Anvil, an iconic concert hall and performance arts centre.
