With the cricket season coming to a close, Ramsey Cricket Club’s teams have been busy with various matches both home and away and as an end of season boost local housebuilder, Linden Homes, has provided a sponsorship donation to the club.
The sponsorship from Linden Homes will go towards the running of the winter junior training programme and towards their end of season awards and BBQ providing continuing support to the U9, U11, U13 and U15s boys and girls teams. The Club has a large junior group which runs weekly training sessions attended by around eighty keen young players aged between 7 and 15.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Stephen Buddle, Chairman of the club said: “As a local cricket club, any support from the local community and businesses is greatly appreciated. Our junior training programme is very popular and with all our younger members being so passionate about the sport, it is really important for us to continue to put funds into these sessions. This type of sponsorship is fantastic and we’re most grateful to Linden Homes for their support.”
