Ramsey Rural Museum, located in 17th-century farm buildings, covers the history of rural Fenland life and includes a chemist shop, cobblers and more. If you like walking but prefer to do it with a set of golf clubs in tow, take your pick from Ramsey Golf Course or Old Nene Golf & Country Club. Maybe you’re a cycling enthusiast? Then you’ll be thrilled to hear Ramsey has its own cycling club – members meet three times a week for group rides.

Another notable pub is the Market Inn, just behind the town hall, with its original timber-framed upper storey. Before you stop for a drink in the pub, you could take a stroll along the riverside pathway or see all the important sites along the ‘Huntingdon Town Trail’.

It’s made up of smaller parks which offer adventure, outdoor activities or simply a great place to walk the dog.
