Diane Ward-Chase and husband Brendan Chase have found the perfect place to call home after moving into their four-bedroom detached home at Linden Homes’ The Green development, located in Grendon.
Diane explains: “We previously lived in Baxterley which is only down the road, so we didn’t want to move far. As soon as I looked around, I knew it was the home for us, so we reserved as soon as we could.
“We were particularly attracted to the development because of the proximity to the area of Grendon and Atherstone, so we can stay close to friends and family. The M42 is also very close, so Brendan can commute to work easily. The size of the house is amazing, and the Sales team at the development did such a good job and were so attentive and followed up with us throughout the process. This made the moving experience so much easier.”
Diane and Brendan previously rented a 200-year-old three-bedroom farmhouse with land, where they kept their horses.
Diane continues: “We couldn’t find what we wanted to buy in terms of size of house versus the size of land, until now. We decided to buy a new build because of the convenience and benefits that come with them. It is not only low maintenance but has a lot better energy efficiency too. We particularly love the size of our kitchen/diner and spacious lounge, alongside the fact we are not overlooked at the back or the front of the house.
“The build quality is also fantastic. The house has bigger bedrooms and better layouts than other housebuilders we previously looked at.”
Diane and Brendan used the Government Help to Buy* scheme to help them fund their new home: “By using Help to Buy we were able to use the extra money that we would otherwise of had to put towards a bigger deposit to buy extra furniture and appliances.
“We would definitely recommend Linden Homes as the staff and builders have been so attentive to our needs and accommodated our requests extremely well.”
