Moving to Minerva Heights couldn’t put you in a better spot for immersing yourself in an exciting new community, while staying closely connected with the well-established city of Chichester. You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds: a close-knit neighbourhood, next to Chichester, with its selection of shops and amenities that give you everything you could need in terms of places to shop, work, exercise and socialise.
You’re within a mile of the city, with its historic attractions, independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and endless spots to indulge in a little culture, such as The Festival Theatre.
If you like diving into the past, you’ll be spoilt for choice with places to explore. From bell towers to Roman baths to the cathedral’s stained glass windows painted by the 19th Century artist Chagall, you’ll never grow tired of things to discover.
What’s close to Chichester?
Following the history trail of the area, Fishbourne Roman Palace and gardens are not to be missed. A vast, excavated villa with stunning floor mosaics, complete with grand gardens created to look exactly as they would have done in Roman times, is yours to explore. Children and adults alike will love the learning workshops that regularly take place, too.
For a great offering of shops, places to eat and even more things to do, Portsmouth is just 17 miles from Minerva Heights. There, you can indulge in a little retail therapy, or explore the many independent cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as bigger, well-loved chains.
If you travel a little further west, in just over 30 miles you’ll hit Southampton. The Titanic interactive experience at the SeaCity Museum is a popular family day out, and you can stand in the place where the world’s most famous ship set off on its doomed maiden voyage.
The seaside is just a stone’s throw away. Travel 9 miles to one of Britain’s most beautiful beaches in West Wittering, where you can lie in the sun, play in the sand dunes or dip your toes in the sea. Just over 10 miles away are the beautiful South Downs, perfect for leisurely weekend walks.
