It’s not everyone who has the courage or confidence to buy a brand new home without the first bricks being laid – but Bourne resident Julie Smith is reaping the benefits of doing just that.
She now has a fantastic four-bedroom home with garage and south-facing garden that tick all the boxes.
Having lived in the Lincolnshire town all her life, Julie was looking to move to a newer property which was closer to the centre of Bourne than her existing home.
After hearing that Linden Homes Midlands were building in Bourne at the Red Hall Gardens development, Julie attended the show home open day and was able to discover what was on offer and how she could turn her dream into a reality.
She said: “My priority for moving was that my new home had to be within walking distance of the town centre. The construction stage of the Red Hall Gardens development at that time was such that the house I wanted had yet to be built!”
After considering the option of reserving her preferred home off plan, keen gardener Julie was guided through the process by the Linden Homes sales team.
She added: “It’s fair to say that I was a little nervous, not being able to see exactly what I was buying, but this was the home and garden I wanted so I took the step to reserve it from the drawing board.”
And her positive actions have paid off, Julie is now settling into her new surroundings – with a blank canvas outdoor space to spruce up to her own style during the summer months.
