New Home Joy For Help To Buy Family And First Resident At Navenby
10 Sep 2018

From rented farm cottage to spacious brand new home, Tom and Kayleigh Shelbourn have stepped onto the housing ladder to become the first residents at a new development in Navenby.

The Shelbourns and their two children, Tyler (nine) and two-year-old Poppy are now enjoying family life in a spacious new place of their own at Linden Homes Midlands’ Hunter’s Lodge development.

The couple used the Help to Buy Scheme to secure their dream home, in an area where mental health support worker Kayleigh has a long association.

Motor Mechanic Tom (30) said: “We have both always lived locally, and we drove past the development everyday to take Tyler to school; and in fact had heard about the prospect of there being a new development here a number of years ago.

“We lived in rented accommodation in Coleby, a three-bedroom semi-detached farm cottage. We moved because we wanted to get on the property ladder, and although we weren’t looking in particular for a new build, the decision was easy because of its location and that the development is close to Tyler’s school.”

Kayleigh, who was brought up in Navenby and went to the same school as Tyler, added: “The Linden Homes team looked after us really well and explained the Help to Buy scheme, which resulted in our move going really smoothly.

“We are delighted with our three bedroom home; the build quality is superb and finished to a really high standard. Tom and I are looking forward to raising our family here and would be more than happy to recommend Linden Homes Midlands to family and friends.”

Hunter’s Lodge comprises a stunning range of three, four and five bedroom homes. For details contact the sales team on 01522 848955.
