Time To Make An Impact With Your First Home In Midsomer Norton
04 Jul 2014

Linden Homes is holding an event next weekend to explain how it can help first time buyers secure a beautiful new home at its popular Impact development in Midsomer Norton.

Specialist staff will be on hand to offer free advice about how the Government’s Help to Buyi scheme can help you get on the property ladder. The event is being held from 10am on Saturday July 12 at the site on Nightingale Way.

Sue Scholfield, Sales Director at Linden Homes Western, said: “The housing market remains buoyant, so now it is the perfect time for first time buyers to take the plunge with confidence.

“Help to Buy has been so successful that the Government has extended it until the end of 2020 and it has already proved popular at Impact as it allows you to secure your new home with a deposit of just 5%.

“Our first time buyer event gives potential new home owners the opportunity to have a look around our stunning Impact development and ask questions about Help to Buy and our other flexible moving schemes.”

Help to Buy is open to all qualifying home buyers of new-build properties in England up to the value of £600,000. Under the scheme the Government provides an interest-free loan for the first five years of up to 20% of the property value. This means that, with a minimum deposit of 5%, a new home can be secured with a 75% mortgage. The Government loan can be repaid at any time or on the sale of the property.

Impact is located close to the centre of Midsomer Norton and offers a range of beautiful two, three and four-bedroom apartments and houses. The scheme is now over 70 per cent sold, but Linden Homes has recently released the latest phase – a select number of two-bedroom terraced homes.

The Farrington, benefits from a contemporary kitchen and stylish bathrooms, including an en suite to the master bedroom, as well as allocated parking. With Help to Buy, this new home could be secured with a deposit of just £8,450.
