Lisa Storer (29) and Oliver Roberts (32) had spent time and money on their previous home in Kingsteington with a view to getting a good offer to sell. Lisa, an estate agent, was aware of how hard it is to achieve a realistic price in a buyers market and harder to accept a low offer in a buyers market, especially after spending time and money on improvements.

Having looked at other part exchange schemes in the area, they were waiting to get another developer to get the ball rolling for them, without success.

Lisa’s chance visit to Ogwell Brook led her to realise that the enhanced quality of housing and good quality fittings in the homes was above what they had seen elsewhere from a new build home.

The couple’s initial enquiry led to relief when Linden offered to get things going for them, leading to a swift, realistic offer through Linden’s part exchange scheme.

‘We had originally thought that a Linden Home was out of their price range, but were surprised that we were made a good offer through them for our old home.  On viewing the townhouse it was the finishing touches of solid oak handrails and doors and stainless steel fittings at Ogwell Brook that made the town house superior to the other new builds we had seen.’
