Part Exchange Family Let Linden Homes Take The Strain Out Of Moving House
03 Apr 2013

WHEN Simon and Lisa Raywood decided to relocate their family to the East Yorkshire town of Howden – they didn’t realise just how smooth their move would be.

In just short of a month, the couple and their two children were settled into a brand new four-bedroom detached home at Linden Homes’ King Edgar’s Court development, with the developer’s popular part exchange scheme making the customer journey hassle-free.

Simon and Lisa and their two children aged 10 and 14 moved to the location from nearby Goole, after a Linden Homes leaflet advertising the development caught their eye.

Although their new home in Howden is a similar size to their previous house in Goole – the family can benefit from a blank canvas on which to put their own personal mark.

With a new home also comes low maintenance and high-energy efficiency, but it was the workings of the Part Exchange incentive that attracted the couple.

Lisa said: “We both work and it was a relief that Linden Homes were able to take charge of the process of selling our existing home and moving us to a brand new one – all within a space of a month.

“The brilliant sales team kept us updated every step of the way, and everything was done in a really professional and smooth manner – taking the hassle out of everything from viewings at our existing home to dealing with the offers and the eventual sale, leaving us free to move into our lovely new home in a great location.”

The Raywoods are so pleased with their home and the service they received that they are among the 97 per cent of Linden Homes North customers who would recommend the house builder to a friend.

If like the Raywoods you are a homeowner and are eligible for part exchange, here’s what happens:

  • Linden Homes will arrange for at least three independent valuations of your existing home and will make you an offer based on their suggestions.
  • Once you agree the offer, and subject to satisfactory surveys, Linden Homes becomes your buyer, freeing you up to put in reservation on your new home.
  • After that, it's a case of setting a moving-in date, boxing up your things, and basking in the relief of a quick chain-free move to the home of your dreams.
  • You can stay in your existing home until your new one is ready.

Located in the heart of Howden, the selection of 54 two, three and four-bedroom homes at King Edgar’s Court are built within the shadows of the St Peter and St Paul Minster Church.

The remaining three and four-bedroom homes are ready to move into now.

The development is perfectly positioned a comfortable seven miles Selby and 25 miles from historic York, and also provides excellent links to the M62.

The sales and marketing suite is open from Thursday to Monday from 10.30am until 5pm, alternatively call the sales team on 01430 451325.
