New Year is a time for new beginnings and new resolutions. It may also be the right time to think about buying a new home.
The Office for Budget Responsibility (an independent but Government funded economic forecaster) has recently predicted a surge in housing market activity which it says will begin in 2013. It estimates that by 2013/14 we could see a 20% rise in the number of people buying and selling homes compared to the previous year.
It appears that the somewhat sluggish market that has persisted over the last few years is about to get a new lease of life.
