New Strip Sponsorship Takes Footballing Youngsters To Fever Pitch!
13 May 2012

WITH Euro 2012 just a few short weeks away, local footballing youngsters are already reaching fever pitch – thanks to a sponsorship deal from developer Linden Homes.

The regional new homes builder has scored a double with Deeping Rangers Juniors by offering to sponsor not one, but two kits for the next couple of seasons.

While the season for the Under 12 Clarets has just ended – leaving them placed fifth in the league -  the arrival of the new home kit means that the players will be able give it a first showing during the closed season, at a series of competitions throughout the summer.

The team, which plays at Outgang Road in Market Deeping, will also be sporting a new away strip at the start of the new season in September – again, thanks to Linden Homes which has a strong local association through its developments in and around the Peterborough and Bourne areas.

Linden Homes technical manager Gary Fane – whose son Joe plays in the team  –  said: “This is a great coup for the lads who have really come on leaps and bounds from Christmas which has seen them win 8 games from 11 played. On behalf of the club, a huge thanks to Linden Homes for their community spirit and generous sponsorship.”

Team manager, Dave Dorward added:  "In these current financial times it is becoming harder and harder for clubs like Deeping Rangers to attract sponsors and financial backing so for Linden Homes to give us not one but two kits is fantastic.

“I've been involved in junior football for a number of years now and I know what a difference a new kit can make to a young footballer. The sense of pride and belonging that comes with a new playing strip goes a long way towards the way the team performs on the pitch. With thanks to Gary Fane and Linden Homes we're already looking forward to next season!"

Linden Homes sales director Steve Garton said: “As a company with strong local ties, it is a pleasure for us to be able to support the community and in particular this up and coming football team in this way and we wish the lads the best of luck next season.”

The Deeping Rangers Under 12 Clarets play in the Peterborough Junior Alliance league.
