New Phase Of Homes Launched In The Cotswolds At Victory Fields
28 Jul 2016

An eye-catching range of houses has launched in Upper Rissington, a charming village in the heart of the Cotswolds, as award-winning housebuilder Linden Homes launches a new phase of 44 new homes at its development at Victory Fields.

According to recent research, the villages such as Upper Rissington, are increasingly becoming the location type of choice for people looking to buy in Britain. While some people prefer cities close to their place of work, a research into housing trends has revealed a desire to move to amenity-rich rural locations. The research found the village was the most popular location, with 21 per cent of survey wanting to live in a village, compared to 14 per cent for a market town and only 12 per cent for either a big city or a suburb.

The new release of homes on Phase 6 at Victory Fields comprise of three, and four-bedroom semi-detached properties.

The design of the new homes combines country-living inspired architecture with thoughtful interiors laid out for contemporary living and has proved very popular with families and first-time buyers, as well as those looking to downsize to a life in the country.

The newly launched homes are beautifully finished and some feature an open plan kitchen / dining room, fully-fitted with modern appliances and ceramic floor tiling. A spacious family living room sits on the first floor of The Fairchild design with a double set of stylish French doors leading out to a private balcony. For peace of mind, every home is independently surveyed and comes with a 10 year NHBC warranty.

The quality of the homes at Victory Fields is matched by the surroundings of the local area. Nestled within an area of outstanding natural beauty, the development also benefits from a local shop, play areas, sports fields and a country park.

Bourton-on-the-Water, also known as ‘The Venice of the Cotswolds’, is three miles away and offers a good choice of pubs, restaurants, a bank and doctors surgery. Further afield, Oxford and Swindon are 26 and 36 miles away respectively.

The community has a new village hall and a newly-built school which is under the umbrella of the Ofsted-rated “excellent” Rissington Primary School. For older children, the Cotswold School a language and science academy in nearby Bourton-on-the-Water, has been rated “excellent” by Ofsted as well. It was also named Comprehensive School of the Year 2015-16 by the Sunday Times.

Shelley West, Linden Homes Thames Valley sales and marketing director, said: “Victory Fields has a fantastic mix of location, design and quality. The development is already home to over 80 families and we’re looking forward to welcoming more as they move in to their new country homes.

“We’ve already had a huge amount of interest in the new homes which have just launched so would encourage anyone interested to get in touch with our Sales Executives to find out more.”

All Linden Homes schemes including the government backed Help to Buy, part exchange and assisted move are available with these homes, subject to scheme terms and conditions.

Victory Fields also has great connections to allow for quick commuting. The M40 is 32 miles away, the M4 36 miles and the M5 24 miles. The nearest station is at Kingham, which offers regular services to London Paddington.
