New Market Harborough Housing Development Nears Completion

The Final Homes Are Now Under Construction At A New Housing Development In Market Harborough.

Linden Homes has begun work on the final seven properties at its Ashton Rise development, off Lubenham Hill.

The housebuilder is delivering 119 homes at the development, with construction work due to be completed this autumn. A total of 112 homes have already been built, of which 108 have been sold and are now occupied.

Work began on site in 2016 after planning permission was granted by Harborough District Council.

As well as providing new homes for Market Harborough, Linden Homes has contributed around £2 million in funding for local services through the planning agreement for the development.

The contributions include £873,155 towards primary, secondary and post-16 education, £237,825 towards outdoor sports provision, £170,000 towards cycling infrastructure improvements, and £126,577 towards children and young people’s services.

Funding has also been provided for parks and gardens, green space, a two-court badminton hall, local policing, cemeteries and allotments.
