With a new baby to make their family complete – first time buyers Kasia Mila and Yann Yao have all the more reason to look forward to a new year in their brand new home.
The couple moved into their new home at the Linden Homes Midlands’ Saxon Gardens development in Huntingdon a few weeks ago, and were settled just in time for the arrival of baby Lily.
Lily means the family is now complete, with Kasia and Yann having used the popular Help to Buy incentive to secure a new and spacious place of their own.
Administrator Kasia (25) said: “We had been considering buying a new home for the past couple of years, but when I found out I was pregnant – we had to speed the process up a little!
“We were both living in Huntington anyway, myself in shared accommodation and Yann with his parents, so knew about the development. We drove by and popped in one day and it went from there.”
The couple reserved their home – like many other savvy customers at the California Road development – from plan.
Using the Help to Buy scheme allowed Kasia and Yann (25) to fulfil their dream of a brand new home.
Under Help to Buy, customers like Kasia and Yann require a minimum five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time or on the sale of your home.
Kasia added: “The Help to Buy scheme is easy and hassle free and without it we wouldn’t have been able to buy our new family home, which is wonderful.
“Spending Christmas in our first home, together with our daughter, was a dream come true and we are looking forward to 2015!”
Once complete, the Saxon Gardens development will boast 180 new two, three and four-bedroom homes.
The stunning homes at one of Linden Homes’ newest regional developments are conveniently located just a mile from Huntingdon town centre, yet within touching distance of the Cambridgeshire countryside.
A number of homes have already been reserved fresh from the drawing board – which means the earliest home hunters now have the chance to buy at the development is for a Spring 2015 completion.
