Neighbours Become The Toast Of Their Own New Community
28 Oct 2015

These Lincolnshire neighbours have plenty to celebrate – toasting the success of being part of a brand new community, and celebrating Christmas in a stylish, spacious new home.

Customers of all ages, including the youngest of just a few days old, were invited to a Meet The Neighbours event organised by Linden Homes Midlands at the Cygnet Place development in Witham St Hughs.

Joining sales executives Lynda Price and Pauline Tilton in raising a glass to their new community were customers who have purchased one of the many styles of new homes at the development – and ranged from first time buyers, couples and young families to existing homeowners using the Part Exchange scheme to secure a brand new property.

Area sales manager Bev Bray said: “We were thrilled that so many of our customers accepted our invitation to join us for a celebratory drink and refreshments to toast them and the success of Cygnet Place so far.

“We have enjoyed really great feedback from our satisfied customers, who have themselves formed the basis of a new community within the village itself.”

And there is still an opportunity for new residents to join the Cygnet Place ‘family’ with a new home in time for Christmas – with a brand new kitchen in which to cook your Christmas Dinner, a fantastic new space to show off your tree and festive decorations and more room for those extra guests.

Linden Homes can help you get Christmas all wrapped up with one of its remaining homes. Half of the 50 properties at the development have been sold, but a selection of stylish three and four-bedroom homes are still available.

And for those looking to put a new home at the top of their Christmas wish list, there is also an opportunity to make use of the many incentives available to help curb the cost.

Schemes available to help you move quicker and more cost effectively include:

Help to Buy – customers require a minimum five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time, or on the sale of your home. Buyers will only need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society. The maximum home purchase is £600,000.

Part exchange - Linden Homes will arrange for at least two independent valuations of your existing home and will make you an offer based on their suggestions. Once you agree the offer, and subject to satisfactory surveys, Linden Homes becomes your buyer, freeing you up to put in reservation on your new home. After that, it's a case of setting a moving-in date, boxing up your things, and basking in the relief of a quick chain-free move to the home of your dreams.

The sales and marketing suite and show home are open daily from 10.30am until 5pm. Alternatively contact the sales team on 01522 849 148.
