On Thurday 5th November, Linden Homes and S4B welcomed representatives from the Friends of Gartside Gardens to site to offically mark the start of a new phase of development with a special brick laying ceremony.
Donning hard hats and high vis vests Craig Eastham, Chair of the Friends of Gartside Gardens and Vice-Chair Rhoda Stuart, joined Craig Nemeth, regeneration manager, Sian Pitt, regional sales manager for Linden Homes, Ross Hemmings, community regeneration manager at S4B and Gary Bailey, site manager on the site of the much anticipated third phase to celebrate the improvements being made at New Brunswick.
Phase B, which is located opposite Gartside Gardens will feature 12 high quality four-bedroom homes. Built in the Delamere style, the new homes will be spread over three floors and will boast en-suite bedrooms, sizeable garages and roof terraces with uninterrupted views of the park.
Craig Nemeth said of the visit: “Friends of Gartside Gardens play a very important role within the local community of Brunswick so we were delighted to be able to welcome them on site to update them on the progress we have been making with the regeneration of the area and to cement their support for the new homes.”
Craig Eastham, Chair of the Friends of Gartside Gardens, said: “The Friends of Gartside Gardens are very interested in seeing all of the progress S4B and Linden Homes are making within Brunswick. These new houses will be a great asset to the area and we are thrilled to be marking this important milestone by having a chance to visit the site and laying a brick which will remain here in the community for years to come.”
