Linden Homes Takes Chelmsford By Storm!
25 Mar 2015

Linden Homes is taking Chelmsford by storm! Its two developments in the city, St John’s and Beeches Crescent, are really drawing the crowds: So much so, that over 50% of the final phase of apartments at St John’s have now been sold.

And at Beeches Crescent, the homes released are selling very quickly– off plan. Karen Roake is the sales and marketing director for St John’s and Beeches Crescent:

“The first properties released, which are all traditionally styled, three bedroom semi-detached houses, are being reserved so quickly that we have released further properties. We have just released another three 4 bedroom homes and two 3 bedroom homes and we’re expecting a similar reaction from buyers this time too.

“Customers have told us they like the fact that this is a smaller development of only thirty eight homes. They also really love the spacious layouts and many have noted that the location is ideal too as Beeches Crescent is near the station and the shops.”

As Beeches Crescent is such a new development – and is still in the early stages of build, it is currently sharing the sales and marketing suite with sister Linden Homes’ development St John’s.

At St John’s there has been a similar level of enthusiasm about the latest phase of this development. This is the site where Linden Homes has transformed the old St John’s hospital site to create a combination of new homes and beautiful, refurbished apartments within the old Victorian hospital buildings.

Visitors and St John’s customers have been drawn by the history of the old building. Some of them may well have been born in the old maternity wing on site. Karen says the one and two bedroom apartments are all different:

“Some of the apartments have their own front door and others have beautiful, big bay windows. They have high ceilings and large windows so feel very spacious. At the centre of the building there’s a large entrance hall, with a striking, wrought iron staircase. We’re expecting these apartments to be as popular as those in the first phase. The show home was opened for viewing on a Friday and was sold the next day. It happened that quickly.”

So you can get a feel for these unusual and characterful homes,– a refurbished St John’s show apartment - will be available to view from the 28th March.
