Linden Homes has won two more national accolades – including Housebuilder of the Year – at the Ideal Home Show’s Blue Ribbon Awards.
The honours are a mark of excellence in the housebuilding industry and celebrate the best examples of design, innovation and development. They were announced at a ceremony on Wednesday March 20th at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
The Housebuilder of the Year title came with glowing comments with hailed the company’s passion, customer care and emphasised its elevation into “the premier league” of British housebuilding.
The award notes said: “Focused on excellent customer care and community support, attention to detail in design and finishes, and an ambitious three-year corporate strategy, Linden Homes builds over 3,000 bespoke homes each year and holds a land bank of 10,500 plots.
“This has raised it from tenth to fifth position amongst the UK’s largest residential developers, moving it firmly into the premier league. Linden Homes’ commitment goes way beyond delivering homes that customers want; it is passionate about bringing communities together and is investing substantial time and money into securing a sustainable future where it operates.
“The judges were very pleased to see this added element in a builder’s and developer’s sense of its own responsibility, and awarded the prize in its recognition – and to encourage the others!”
Linden Homes also scooped Refurbishment of the Year for Kingston Mills in Bradford-on-Avon, a unique waterside development which blends seamlessly with the historic town.
The judges “very much liked the unifying vision for the whole scheme, and appreciated the approach both to site planning and design as a creative response to the site and its surroundings”.
The accolades are further additions to Linden Homes’ crowded trophy cabinet. It follows the company winning a Housebuilder of the Year title in 2012 at a separate industry awards ceremony sponsored by Building magazine, among many others.

The Blue Ribbon Awards’ pedigree dates back to the 1960s and have been relaunched this year by the Ideal Home Show to support innovation and development in the housing industry.
