Linden Homes Launches Sought-after Deeping St James Development

The first homes at a highly anticipated new housing development in Deeping St James have been released for sale this month (August).

More than 600 people have registered their interest in Linden Homes’ Springfields development since plans for the scheme were approved by South Kesteven District Council in September last year.

Linden Homes is building 76 houses at the site off Linchfield Road, to the north of the village. The development, which comprises a range of three and four-bedroom properties, is part of a wider scheme delivering 145 homes to the area.

The housebuilder, which is part of the newly formed Vistry Group, released the first homes for sale on Saturday 15 August, with the first homes now selling from the housebuilder’s sales hub for each of its development around the Peterborough area.

Prospective purchasers will now be able to book a one-to-one appointment to speak to a sales consultant in person. Visits will be by prior appointment only to ensure social distancing.

Charlotte Barber, Sales Manager for Linden Homes Midlands, said: “The huge number of enquiries we have seen about the homes at Springfields really shows what a sought-after location Deeping St James and the surrounding area has become for housebuyers in this part of the country.

“More desirable than Bourne and Spalding, but more affordable than Stamford, it offers the perfect balance of town and country living for those seeking the convenience of Peterborough’s transport links without being too close to the city. The fact that Deeping Lakes Nature Reserve is just a few miles away also adds to its appeal.

“The village and the neighbouring town of Market Deeping are well-served by a wide range of shops, good schools and a leisure centre, so it’s no surprise that there has been plenty of interest from families and commuters.

“Since launching the first homes for sale, five reservations have already been taken at Springfields and we will shortly be releasing further new homes for sale due to the high interest we have received at the development in such a short space of time.”

A four-bedroom showhome is due to open at Springfields later this year while Linden Homes is expecting to welcome the first residents into their homes in December.
