Award winning housebuilder Linden Homes has announced the appointment of Simon Pendlebury as the new managing director of its Thames Valley region.
Simon, who has been with Linden Homes for over 10 years, will lead the Thames Valley team as they continue building quality homes in the region, as well as maintaining and improving the high levels of customer satisfaction and positive relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders.
Previously Sales and Marketing Director for Linden Homes Chiltern, Simon commented: "I am proud to be taking on the role of managing director here at the Thames Valley head office, at what is an exciting time for the region and for the business as a whole. I have inherited an ambitious team and together we will build on the success of the region to date.
"We are committed to providing high quality family homes in some of the best of the British countryside, our house types cater for first time buyers, families and downsizers alike. I am excited to continue expanding the offering of the Thames Valley division and sure the team around me will continue to go from strength to strength."
Recent research from TotallyMoney identified that more and more househunters are looking to commuter towns within the Thames Valley region when purchasing a property. Locations in this part of the UK are continuing to gather momentum and see impressive rates of property transactions due in part to existing travel connections in and out of the capital, which are likely to be further bolstered with the imminent introduction of Crossrail.
Andrew Hammond, Divisional Chairman for Linden Homes, added: "I would like to wish Simon the very best in his new role. He has proven himself an invaluable asset to the business and worked tirelessly to achieve this success. The Thames Valley region continues to go from strength to strength, and I'm sure with Simon at the helm this success will continue and the region continue to thrive."
