Top five housebuilder Linden Homes has appointed Mike Coker to the role of Managing Director for its Midlands region.
Mike has a lengthy career in the new homes industry - working for a number of nationally recognised companies as well as having run his own building business.
Mike worked for the original Linden Homes in Surrey at the start of his career, and now re-joins the company (with Galliford Try as the parent company) at a very exciting time for the Midlands region. He will report into Divisional Managing Director, Tom Nicholson.
Tom said: “Linden Homes is a respected housebuilder known for building top quality homes in great locations around the country and it’s a pleasure to introduce Mike as the new managing director of our Midlands region. His extensive experience in the industry, coupled with his commercial acumen, will add real value to the company and will set him in good stead to take the business forward.”
Mike said: “I have joined the company at the end of a very successful year for the region – which has seen the business deliver well beyond its budgeted performance. The main focus going forward will be to ensure we drive land through the system and make efficient and effective starts on site. Health and Safety, the environment and interaction with communities surrounding our developments will all be a key focus for us.”
He joins a determined and driven team, and added: “There is a strong desire by the staff at Linden Homes to perform at a high level and an equally focussed passion to provide an excellent experience to our customers.”
