WITH research suggesting that English market towns are top of buyers’ lists when it comes to moving house – the popular location of Retford is living up to the reputation.

The Government’s new Help to Buy scheme requires first time buyers or existing homeowners to have a minimum five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time or on the sale of your home.
