Housebuilder Invites North Yorkshire Home Hunters To Late Night Opening
23 Jan 2019

With the New Year well under way – now is the perfect time to put plans of a 2019 move into action; and get settled into a new home before the start of spring.

And in North Yorkshire, potential home hunters have the chance to beat the January blues and find out just what is on offer on their doorstep.

A series of late night open evenings are being staged by Linden Homes East Yorkshire at developments in the region to showcase its range of house designs and cost-curbing moving incentives.

The open evening takes place on Thursday February 7 – between 5pm and 7pm – at the following developments:

  • Bluebell Rise in Brayton, boasting a selection of three and four-bedroom homes.
  • Copperfield in Malton where a number of family-friendly four-bedroom homes.
  • The Beeches in West Ayton.

Visitors can find out what each development has to offer, the properties and incentives available.

This includes part exchange for those with an existing property to sell. Linden Homes will arrange for at least three independent valuations of your existing home and will make you an offer based on their suggestions.

Once you agree the offer, and subject to satisfactory surveys, Linden Homes becomes your buyer, freeing you up to reserve your new home. After that, it's a case of setting a moving-in date, boxing up your things, and basking in the relief of a quick chain-free move to the home of your dreams. You can stay in your existing home until your new one is ready – which could be as soon as within a month.

The Help to Buy scheme is also available, where customers require a minimum five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time, or on the sale of your home. Buyers will only need to secure up to a 75 percent mortgage from a bank or building society. The maximum home purchase is £600,000.

Regional sales manager Melanie Parker said: “We understand that not everyone is able to visit our sales offices during the normal working or opening hours, and hope that the open evening on 7 February gives greater choice to potential buyers who will welcome a degree of flexibility in viewing our fantastic show homes and finding out more from our friendly and professional sales teams.”
