DEVELOPER Linden Homes is celebrating a flying start to 2014 – selling around £10 million worth of property in January and February.
The company sold 51 new homes during the first two months of this year – with many being snapped up through the popular Help To Buy initiative. Part exchange has also played a large part in the number of early 2014 sales – helping homeowners with an existing property with a hassle-free move.
And with more new developments coming on stream during Spring and Summer months, the award-winning Hessle-based house builder predicts much of the same for the rest of the quarter – saying now is the perfect time to invest in bricks and mortar.
Linden Homes currently has developments in Grimsby, York, East Riding, North and West Yorkshire and other parts of North East Lincolnshire – where a number have recently sold out.
However, there are more new developments poised for a launch this year - and with more and more savvy customers buying off plan to reap the many benefits of reserving fresh from the drawing board, the company is confident that target sales will be achieved.
Land acquisitions and planning permission in additional locations across the region will see new developments this year in Harrogate, York and Howden – resulting in the building of around 70 additional new homes.
And in the coming weeks, a number of show homes will officially open to the public at a number of highly anticipated developments.
