Rock on! Forget the Crazy, Crazy Nights – it was a fun, fun day for good sports at Linden Homes Midlands, as the team got into the Comic Relief spirit.
Staff from many areas of the business, including a number of the company’s directors, played the part of budding rock Gods in aid of Red Nose Day – with dress down donations topping £100.
Funny faces and way-out hairstyles in the name of Comic Relief allowed the Peterborough-based developer to do its bit for good causes in the UK and in Africa.
Linden Homes Midlands finance director Fraser Hopes said: “Red Nose Day is always a fund raising highlight and a chance for staff to get into the spirit of the event.
“We had a great time and in some cases, the face painting and wigs were so good that it took some people a while to recognise who was behind the disguise!”
Comic Relief celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, with combined totals raised over the past three decades reaching a staggering £1 billion.
Friday’s Comic Relief raised £78 million (to date) – the highest ever total of a Red Nose Day.
