Get Your Skates On To Avoid House Price Surge ?" Advises House Builder
05 Mar 2020

People looking to buy a new property this year are being urged to get their skates on as house prices start to rise.

For the first time in nearly two years, every region across the UK has seen a price surge, according to latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

As a result, regional developer Linden Homes Midlands; currently building at Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire; recommends that people considering moving home this year, should act sooner rather than later, in case the upward trend continues.

“At last the signs of recovery in the housing market are beginning to show through and these price rises, are testament to this,” explained Nicky Chapman, Linden Homes sales and marketing director

“Experts say there is a ‘definite sense’ that the ‘market had turned a corner’. Our advice to potential buyers is to seriously consider your purchasing options now, in case the upturn continues through the year.”

According to the ONS, house prices across the East Midlands which covers Linden’s developments, increased by 2.8% in December, compared with the previous year. Buyers and sellers who had been cautious about making big decisions while the exit from the EU remained unresolved, appear to now be ready and confident to press ahead.
