Linden Homes is helping first time buyers get on the property ladder at its Heritage Park development in Radstock by holding a free mortgage advice event on Saturday 11th November from 10am to 5pm.

Adam Champion, an independent expert from New Homes Mortgage Helpline, explained: “Home 180 is a contemporary first floor apartment priced at £161,995. Using Help to Buy, you would only need a five per cent deposit of £8,101. There would be a 20 per cent government equity loan and then you would only require a 75 per cent mortgage of £121,495, which would equate to £434 per month or £100 per week, based on a typical 1.74% two year fixed mortgage over a 30 year term.”
Sue added: “Joining the housing ladder is not just a good investment in the long term but it pays to move in the short term too.
