Linden Homes, part of the newly formed Vistry Group, is officially launching its Falcons Lodge development on Saturday 8 August.

The developer is hosting an interactive digital launch event, inviting buyers to see the development virtually, including a webinar where Linden Homes will showcase the floor plans and a tour of the first homes to be released for sale.

Falcons Lodge, off High Road, will comprise a total of 108 homes, including a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, and two, three, four and five-bedroom houses.

The development’s name pays tribute to the nearby Herrings Green Activity Farm and Bird of Prey Centre, located south of Shortstown near Cotton End.

Building work began on the site in the spring and the first homes are due to be completed by the end of this year.

Hannah Dorner, Sales Manager for Falcons Lodge, said: “Construction work has progressed extremely well on site since we started in the spring, and we are delighted to now be in a position where we can release the first homes for sale off-plan.

“We are building a wide variety of different apartments and houses, catering for people at all stages of the property ladder, from first-time buyers to downsizers and growing families, and there has already been a great deal of interest from prospective purchasers.

“Our digital launch event will provide buyers with the opportunity to view the first homes for sale without needing to visit the development in person, and offers them the chance to purchase at an early stage of development where finishing options can be chosen to suit each buyer individually.

“Falcons Lodge offers the best of both worlds – a peaceful rural setting just over three miles away from Bedford town centre. It is also less than half a mile away from Cardington Studios, which is used as a set for TV and film productions. Batman Begins and Star Wars: The Return of Skywalker are just two of the blockbuster movies to have been shot here, so the development may hold particular appeal for film fans and celebrity spotters.”

Linden Homes is also offering tailor-made home packages to anyone who reserves their new home during the launch weekend. The incentives will range from outdoor BBQ and garden furniture packs to indoor tech bundles.

As part of the planning agreement for the development, Linden Homes will provide £350,000 in funding for local services and infrastructure.

Contributions will include £200,200 for education, £80,765 towards public transport and £58,179 for sports facilities.
