Don’t Let Lockdown Bring A Halt To Your Plans To Move Home In The New Year
23 Nov 2020

With confirmation that the housing market will remain open during this second lockdown, home hunters in Lincolnshire can beat the rush to a brand new home close to the Cathedral city of Lincoln.

With a stunning family-friendly show home poised for a virtual launch early next month, there is now a chance to reserve a preferred property from plan at the Bracebridge Manor development in the sought-after location of Bracebridge Heath.

The Vistry Yorkshire (part of Vistry Group) development will comprise 120 two, three and four-bedrooms homes, the first of which will be ready to move in to by January 2021.

While not everyone has the courage or confidence to reserve from plan – there are many advantages to cherry picking your preferred plot from the drawing board.

  • Selecting a plot with a sought-after south facing garden
  • Contemporary kitchens and bathrooms
  • Having a blank canvas from which to plan a new home
  • Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance bills that new homes can offer
  • New materials used in the construction process also mean that new homes are more energy efficient than their older counterparts.
  • 10-year National House Building Council (NHBC) protection

Located in the shadows of the impressive Lincoln Cathedral, Bracebridge Manor will appeal to everyone from first time buyers, young professionals, families and those looking to downsize to the commuter-friendly village.

Designs will include the four-bedroom Pembroke, complete with spacious lounge, open plan dining    room and kitchen and a study – perfect for working from home. The Home Exchange (formerly Part Exchange) and Smooth Move (formerly Assisted Move) schemes are available.

As the development’s show home, the online wraps will be coming off on December 5. This launch, along with other recent openings, will take the form of a 360-degree tour via a link on the website when customers have the chance to view this stunning home from the comfort of their own.

In addition to the new homes, Vistry Yorkshire will be ploughing over £700,000 into local community benefits through the S106 agreement with the local planning authority. Contributions totalling £739,000 include:

  • £51,000 towards improvements at the Bracebridge Heath Practice
  • £287,989 towards Bracebridge Heath Primary School
  • £100,000 towards the provision and maintenance of cycleways and facilities serving the development.
  • £300,000 towards Lincoln Eastern Bypass

There will also be an onsite play area and provision of affordable housing.

Prices for the new homes have yet to be released, but anyone wishing to register early interest can visit here.

Just two miles from historic Lincoln – with its landmark Castle, many bars and restaurants, cobbled shopping areas with independent boutiques - Bracebridge Manor also benefits from easy access to the A15 to Sleaford and the A607 to Grantham.
