It’s the fifth consecutive year that Linden Homes Eastern staff have brought Christmas cheer to those children spending Christmas at the Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford through their annual Christmas present appeal.
For the last four years Linden Homes has gathered and donated a variety of gifts to the patients on Broomfield’s Phoenix ward. Following these previous successes, the local housebuilder, as part of their 2018 Christmas appeal, pulled together once again to ensure those children needing to spend Christmas on the ward this year is treated to something special.
Broomfield Hospital’s Fundraising Coordinator, Charlotte Jefcoate, said: “We would like to thank Linden Homes for once again visiting the children and making their day with these wonderful gifts. This means a lot to all of us.”
Robert Church, Managing Director at Linden Homes Eastern, said: “Bringing smiles and joy is what Christmas is all about, so we were delighted to visit Broomfield Hospital once again this year.
“We were thoroughly heartened to meet the children, their parents and fantastic staff at the hospital when dropping off the sacks of goodies. It means a lot for us to contribute at this time of year, and I hope we can do it for many years to come.”
