Budding bakers and cake makers at Linden Homes West Yorkshire served up perfect pastries, terrific tarts and smashing sponges in support of the company’s chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.
Doing their bit Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning colleagues at the company’s Leeds-based office and teams at some of the region’s developments really excelled themselves with their baking skills and joined in to make it a great event.
Colleagues from across all departments tucked into a range of sweet treats and show stopping savouries to raise £380 for the charity.
Managing director Scott Stothard said: “Fun and fundraising was the order of the day, and staff from across the company delighted colleagues with their bakes, cakes and savouries as part of our ongoing efforts to raise cash for such a worthy cause.
“Our thanks also to the developments who took part in their respective sales and marketing suites, and tempted customers with their own refreshments.”
Support of the coffee morning is the latest in a series of events to raise money for Macmillan – which have so fair topped almost £15,000.
