With this winter presenting its own set of challenges in what has been an unusual 2020, home buyers can still be assured of saving money on a move to a dream home.
The festive break presents an ideal opportunity to resume the property search and to think about a holiday – a stamp duty holiday!
Purchasers could save up to £15,000 on the price of a new home under the Government’s stamp duty holiday on properties under £500,000. However, this only runs until the end of March 2021.
And with both first time buyers and existing homeowners eligible for the saving, reserving a new energy efficient home to move into after Christmas will certainly see off the January blues.

This incentive is available to those with an existing property to sell, and with other schemes to help buyers move hassle-free; including Help to Buy and Smooth Move, now is the perfect time to resume the search and get moved within as little as four weeks.”
As well as having launched a series of show homes virtually with digital openings, Vistry Yorkshire has spent the past few months delivering the home buying process as efficiently, easily and safely as possible for customers.
Melanie added: “We have adopted new ways of working at our developments across the region, including appointment only visits either in person or via online communications / video channels. Customers can also view our amazing show homes from the comfort of their own home and follow up with a social-distanced, Covid-safe appointment in person if they wish.”
