About the local area

Our new build homes are located just 1.6 kilometres from the small historic town of Wincanton. In the town centre itself, you'll find independent pubs, restaurants and boutiques as well as all the necessities, including a Co-Op, pharmacy and hospital.

Wandering down the high street you'll stumble across the Danish-inspired Hooga coffee shop – ideal for a pitstop with fresh coffee, cakes and breakfast bites on offer. There's a good selection of local bars and pubs too. These include The Nog Inn, a Grade II-listed pub serving up home-cooked classics and craft ales. A 14-minute drive away is the village of Bruton where you'll find even more independent eateries offering tasty local delicacies. A half-hour drive away is the popular Frome Farmers' Market on the second Saturday of every month.
