Savvy House Hunters Already Snapping Up Homes For 2017 In North Yorkshire
05 Apr 2016

Spring may only have just arrived, but some savvy home hunters in North Yorkshire are already thinking ahead towards Christmas and early 2017.

As purchasers at Linden Homes North’s Copperfields development in Malton, they are reaping the many benefits associated with buying off plan.

Many new homes at Copperfields have already been snapped up from the drawing board, some months before they are due to be completed.

The development is located on the site of the Malton Showground, making it perfect for commuters. Once complete, it will comprise 174 exceptional two, three and four-bedroom homes - suitable for first time buyers, young professionals, families and those looking to downsize.

The first homes are due for imminent completion, while others expected to be complete by the end of the year, giving many buyers the opportunity to beat the rush and reserve from plan.

Snapping up a new home from the drawing board presents huge advantages including:

  • Personalising your home by choosing their preferred bathroom tiles and kitchen units
  • Offering more time to save towards furniture and carpets
  • Securing a new home at today’s price in a rising market
  • Taking advantage of the low interest rates on current mortgages
  • Schemes available for five per cent deposits
  • Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance bills that new homes can offer
  • New materials used in the construction process also mean that new homes are more energy efficient than their older counterparts
  • A 10-year National House Building Council (NHBC) protection

Copperfields has also been chosen to showcase some of Linden Homes’ new designs, which have all been named after famous castles – including Windsor, Oxford and Brampton.

Linden Homes is working in partnership with Hunters Estate Agents in the town until a sales and marketing suite is open at the development.

Sales manager for Linden Homes North, Julie Hubbard, said: “Having launched the development last December, we are really delighted with how it has captured the public’s imagination. The location, choice of designs and style of the homes have certainly proved popular so far – with around a third of the properties currently released being sold from plan.”

A self-contained town - perfectly positioned between the cultural city of York and the popular seaside towns on the East Coast - Malton boasts an excellent selection of shops, including the Malton Cookery School.
