New Land Deal Secures Housing Development Extension In Driffield

House builder Linden Homes East Yorkshire has announced plans to extend is popular Heartlands development in Driffield.

Commercial property and real estate consultants Cushman & Wakefield acted for the land owners on the transaction and completed the sale of the residential development site off Spellowgate.

The site recently secured planning permission for 40 three and four-bedroom homes, and will form an extension to Linden Homes’ already successful development.

Matthew Barker, Land Director of Linden Homes East Yorkshire said, “We are very pleased to acquire an additional 40 plots adjacent to our existing Heartlands development site in Driffield – which has recently been voted among the top places to live in the UK.

“The development has been really popular and we look forward to delivering much needed new homes in this desirable location.”

Phil Roebuck, Partner and head of residential development at C&W added: “We are pleased to have agreed a sale to Linden Homes East Yorkshire. The site forms the final parcel of this large housing allocation, the balance of which is being successfully developed by Linden Homes and another developer to provide much needed family housing.”
