Award winning Linden Homes is developing plans to create a range of two, three, four and five bedroom homes in Thaxted after receiving planning permission to build on a parcel of land in the Essex town.
The 47 new homes are to be built just off Wedow Road and will include a two-bedroom bungalow amongst the new homes.

As part of the construction process, Linden Homes will also be providing homes for creatures other than humans: Bat, swift and swallow boxes will be installed – as well as invertebrate and bug houses.
Once building work begins on site, the construction team will need a workforce of around 70 people, so there could also be job opportunities and possible apprenticeships available on site.
The town of Thaxted may be in a lovely, rural setting, but it is just over five and a half miles from Elsenham station, which has regular and direct trains to London Liverpool Street. The train journey into the capital takes just under an hour.
For commuters travelling further afield, Stansted Airport is just over six and half miles away.
