Linden Homes Announces £70 Million In Regional Investment As Business Grows
15 Apr 2014

AWARD-WINNING Linden Homes is continuing to expand across the region – having bought land which will lead to £70 million worth of housing investment.

As well as new developments coming on stream between now and the summer months in locations across Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire and Huntingdonshire, a number of additional areas of land have been purchased.

Sites in Whetstone (Leicestershire) and Witham St Hughes (Lincolnshire) have been earmarked for a total of 134 new homes, while proposed land purchased in Higham Ferrers and Burton Latimer in Northamptonshire are currently awaiting local authority planning consent.

The sites have been carefully chosen to reflect current housing, local amenities and their proximity to road and rail networks.

Many of the areas have a long-standing association with Linden Homes Midlands (which has its regional head office in Peterborough), but all – says sales director Chris Roads - are a demonstration of the company meeting demand for quality housing at affordable prices.

Chris said: “This is a huge positive for us as a company, but also for the house buying public – particularly in the areas where land has been acquired, which builds on our existing reputation.

“It is a further demonstration of Linden Homes’ confidence in the market and demand for new housing, and our continued commitment to provide good quality homes for 21st century living and lifestyles in great locations.”

He added: “We are seeing an increase in the number of people who are reserving from plan, with customers becoming interested in our new developments far earlier on in the process.

“Coupled with our fantastic incentives – including Help to Buy and Part Exchange – for many people, that dream home is within much easier reach than ever before.”

New and coming soon developments – proposing some 517 new homes – at a glance:

  • Recently launched Harvest Meadows at Dunton, Bedfordshire – 24 homes.
  • Coming on stream later this month – The Limes at Sapcote in Leicestershire – 128 homes, followed by the launch of The Brambles in Stamford, Lincolnshire in May – 15 homes.
  • Saxon Gardens in Huntingdon is poised to officially launch this summer, offering 184 homes.
  • Summer will see Sandy’s Kestrel Ridge development begin work on 23 homes.
