Home hunters in Hertfordshire can view one and two-bedroom luxury apartments at a national housebuilder’s location in Welwyn Garden City – and they can move in now!

Linden Homes – part of the newly-formed Vistry Group – has five popular Emerald House apartments at its Wilshere Park development, off Digswell Hill, by the A1.

Potential buyers can view the properties on an appointment-only basis. The Government’s Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme and Linden Homes’ Assisted Move and Part Exchange initiatives are available on selected apartments and purchasers could receive £1,000 towards legal fees.

Alison Tindle, regional sales and marketing director at Vistry, said: “These stunning one and two-bedroom apartments are in high demand. They offer tranquil country life in a pretty and historic setting in the heart of Hertfordshire. Just 30 minutes from central London by train, this development offers the best of both worlds.

“Those interested can book an appointment online and see these impressive apartments, with spacious living areas and allocated parking spaces, for themselves.”

The apartments available to purchase now include apartment 204 in Emerald House. This two-bedroom property is available with Help to Buy and Linden Homes will provide £1,000 towards the legal fees and £5,000 towards the deposit. An Entertainment Package with a 50'' Smart TV, Sonos Beam Sound Bar, 2019 iPad and Amazon Echo Dot, is also provided.

Also, apartment 225 in neighbouring Brunswick House. This one-bedroom fully furnished show apartment also includes £1,000 towards legal fees and the Entertainment Package. Home buyers could also use Help to Buy on this property.

With plenty of open green space to enjoy, movers will be close to good schools, shops, pubs, restaurants and a short drive from Welwyn Garden City station, which provides trains to London King’s Cross.

Using the Help to Buy – Equity Loan scheme, home buyers need just a five per cent cash deposit, with the Government providing an equity loan of up to 20 per cent of the value of the property being bought. Purchasers then need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage.

Linden Homes could help sell a buyer’s home through Assisted Move by agreeing a selling price with the home owner, instructing local estate agents, giving feedback on viewings and paying estate agent fees.

With Part Exchange, the housebuilder could purchase a home owner’s current property when they buy a Linden Home. The value of the existing house must be no more than 70 per cent of the selling price of the chosen new home.
