Galliford Try Partnerships Set To Deliver New Homes In Gorton, Manchester.
Leading housing and regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships, which markets its homes under the award winning Linden Homes banner, has submitted a planning application to Manchester City Council to help redevelop a prime area in Gorton, Manchester.
The £9 million project will see Galliford Try Partnerships deliver 62 new homes across two sites in Gorton. 48 of those planned will be located off Crossley Street, while a further 14 will be situated off Belle Vue Street.
All of the new two, three and four bedroom homes will be available for open market sale.
The sites are currently owned by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and the application follows Galliford Try Partnerships signing an agreement for sale with the HCA in February 2016.
Manchester Place (a collaboration between the HCA and Manchester City), obtained outline planning permission for the redevelopment in 2014, following the investment of £850,000 to prepare the sites for development including; undertaking site surveys and the removal of redundant and disused buildings from the sites.
If planning is approved, Galliford Try Partnerships will aim to start construction on site in Summer 2016.
The opportunity demonstrates the continued growth of Galliford Try Partnerships mixed tenure housing offer in the region under its Linden Homes brand, with further sales outlets also scheduled to open in the coming months.
