Contemporary Living Inspires New Show Home At Pavilions, Wimbledon
21 Oct 2015

Sales have already taken off since the stylish show apartment was launched at award-winning Linden Homes’ Pavilions collection in popular Wimbledon.

Over 50 per cent of the properties here have already sold off plan even before the hotly anticipated opening of the sophisticated show apartment designed for contemporary living with a luxurious yet clean-cut look.

The high-specification Pavilions occupies a sought-after spot in the fashionable heart of SW19. It enjoys quick access to the high street and the boutique shops, cafes and restaurants that populate charming Wimbledon village.

Show home designer Rebecca Allan, of Alexander James Interior Design, explained her approach: “The design was inspired by contemporary geometric patterns and shapes that have been extremely fashionable this year.

“I incorporated textured wallpapers into the show apartment. They are very on trend at the moment, and great for making spaces feel warm and interesting without being too intrusive.

“To maximise the bedroom’s appeal, I opted for a distinctive grey wallpaper to stir a feeling of calm and composure whilst creating a contrasting background to the striking bedside lamps. The room was then softened by piling up cushions and a luxurious fur throw.

“In the living room I introduced a strong vibrant fig colour to add a pop of colour. However, the artwork sat behind was painted in greys to tie in with the master bedroom and the bar stools – ultimately pulling the whole scheme together.”

High quality fixtures and fittings feature throughout the light and airy apartments, which are stylish and sleek. Underground parking is available for a limited number, and each apartment comes with a 10-year NHBC warranty and two-year customer care warranty for peace of mind.

Dylan May, Linden Homes South East’s land, sales and marketing director, said: “Launching a collection’s show apartment is always an exciting moment, but especially so with such a fantastic design, stylish location and sophisticated product.

“With the impressive sales we’ve already had, we’re expecting interest to surge from a wide variety of customers, ranging from downsizers and investors to young professionals looking for a well-connected launchpad into London.

“We’ve been advising people calling to enquire about the apartments that they should register with us and come and take a look as soon as they can. Delaying runs the risk of missing out on the first choice – these homes won’t be on the market for long!”

Pavilions’ connections partly help to explain the apartments’ popularity: as well as the choice of trams and buses, South Wimbledon tube station is on the Northern Line less around five minutes’ walk away.

Wimbledon railway station, also in walking distance and on the District Line, carries commuters overland to Waterloo in less than 20 minutes, and also to London St Pancras International.
