Property Surgery In Sapcote - The New Homes Doctor Will See You Now!
29 Apr 2015

Linden Homes Midlands opens the doors to its Sapcote development for a special new homes buyer’s surgery next month, guiding potential customers through the purchasing process.

The open weekend at The Limes on May 9/10 will have sales and financial professionals on hand to guide customers through the popular Help To Buy incentive – which can save money, time and stress when it comes to finding and buying that dream home.

A number of two-bedroom homes, in a range of styles, are currently available at the popular development – perfect for first time buyers or existing homeowners who are looking to downsize.

Both these type of customers are eligible for the Help to Buy scheme, which has already assisted numerous Linden Homes customers to fulfill their dream of moving to a brand new home.

Under Help to Buy, customers require a minimum five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time or on the sale of your home.

And among the many customers to have benefitted from the scheme are Kelly Davis (38) and fiancé Richard Ward (35) – who wanted to start their married life in a home of their own in a village location.

The couple, who tie the knot at the end of May, reserved their new home after visiting at a Help to Buy weekend at The Limes earlier this year.

Further education lecturer Kelly, who grew up in Sapcote and used to horse ride on the undeveloped Limes site, said: “From that first visit in mid-February it took just six weeks before we were getting the keys to our very own home.

“We had heard about the Help to Buy scheme through promotional adverts and had done a little research. There was no way we could have looked at used houses in the same price range and have afforded the deposit. The scheme made things so much more affordable and easy.

“We love the location of the development and the situation of our house in a lovely cul-de-sac. We are near to our families and can easily access the M69.

“The Linden Homes sales team were brilliant and made the whole process a great deal easier by providing us with contacts for the mortgage advisor and solicitor, with everyone contactable and familiar with each other.”

She added: “It is such a pleasure to now have a brand new house that we can turn into our home to start our married life together.

Linden Homes regional sales manager Bev Bray said: “We wanted to dedicate a weekend to explaining this very important and popular incentive to our visitors. The new homes buyer’s surgery will offer advice and guidance to help potential buyers make an informed decision – just as we’ve seen with Kelly and Richard.”

Representatives from New Homes Mortgage Helpline will be available on Saturday 9 May, while the sales team will be on hand throughout the weekend from 10.30am until 5pm.

Visitors will also have the chance to see what the popular development has to offer, as well as take a look around the fantastic show home.

The Limes offers a range of 128 two, three and four-bedrooms homes. Some are ready to move into now, including the two-bedroom Lambourne housetype.

Sapcote enjoys the best of both worlds – offering a village lifestyle while being just four miles from Hinckley and 12 miles from Leicester.

The show homes and sales and marketing suite are open daily from 10.30am until 5pm. Alternatively, contact the sales team on 08444 880096.
