Linden Homes is supporting the local community by helping some of Paignton Rugby Football Club’s youngest members.
The club, which is almost 145 years old, has its grounds in the heart of Paignton at Queens Park. With over 16 teams for boys, girls, women and men, the future is looking positive for Paignton RFC, thanks to strong leadership and support from both players and sponsors.
Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director at Linden Homes, said: “We are delighted to sponsor Paignton RFC and will be following their progress this season. I visited the team during a training session and they were very friendly, although eager to put me through my paces! They’re a great bunch of lads that we’re proud to be supporting – we wish them luck in their forthcoming matches.”
Donna Dowden, the under 14’s team manager for Paignton RFC, said: “We are extremely grateful to Linden Homes; we have a very dedicated under 14’s team but we do rely on sponsorship to help fund the kit, equipment and safety gear. It’s fantastic to see the players inspired and they enjoyed giving Brian some tips on scrum formation!”
Linden Homes is creating homes locally. White Rock currently features two, three and four bedroom contemporary homes. The development is located near the seaside resorts of Goodrington and Paignton, with White Rock Primary School and local shops close by.
