With a national apprenticeship programme and a specialised training and education hub, leading housebuilder Linden Homes recognises the importance of apprenticeships in the South West.
The company is committed to training hundreds of people under its Linden Homes National Apprentice Programme, in a wide variety of skills.
Nigel Palmer, managing director for Linden Homes South West, said: “It’s great to see the apprentices qualify and excel in their chosen field. National Apprenticeship Week (14th to 18th March) provides a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of the apprentices but also of the strong team supporting them.
“Last year Linden Homes launched a specialised training and education hub (with National Skills Academy for Construction status) at White Rock in Paignton where schools, trainees and apprentices can learn construction skills, such as carpentry, bricklaying, business administration and plumbing. It’s wonderful to see the different skills showcased and visitors inspired and eager to start a career in construction.”
