Fall In Love With A New Home In Biddenham This Valentine's Season
27 Feb 2018

There's still time to fall in love this Valentine’s season – particularly if you have your eye on something stylish, chic and affordable!

Linden Homes Midlands continues to celebrate sales success at its Bedfordshire development St Andrews at Kings Field, in the village of Biddenham, where over 75 per cent of the new homes have now been sold.

The development boasts a range of 101 three, four, and five-bedroom homes off Bromham Road, in styles including terraced, semi-detached and detached.

Buyers – whether first time buyers, young professional or families – can enjoy the best of both worlds; the tranquillity of a village location while being close to the town of Bedford and beyond.

And to assist those with an existing property to sell or even moving up the ladder, the popular Help to Buy and Part Exchange schemes is available.

Help to Buy is one of the most popular incentives chosen by home hunters looking to move to one of Linden Homes Midlands’ development across the region.

Here’s how it works: customers require a minimum five per cent deposit. The government will lend you up to 20 per cent of the value of your property through an equity loan, which can be repaid at any time, or on the sale of your home. Buyers will only need to secure up to a 75 per cent mortgage from a bank or building society. The maximum home purchase is £600,000.

Meanwhile, if you are a homeowner and are eligible for part exchange, here’s how it works:

Linden Homes will arrange for at least two independent valuations of your existing home and will make you an offer based on their suggestions.

Once you agree the offer, and subject to satisfactory surveys, Linden Homes becomes your cash buyer, freeing you up to place your reservation on your new home.

Stay in your old home until your new one is ready to move in to.

After that, it's a case of setting a moving-in date, boxing up your things, and basking in the relief of a quick chain-free move to the home of your dreams.

Assisted Move works in a similar way – customers can reserve their new home, with Linden Homes instructing agents on their behalf to secure a sale within an agreed time frame. This scheme can also be used in conjunction with Help to Buy – the Government-backed incentive where a minimum five per cent deposit is required.

St Andrew at Kings Field is just over half a mile from Bedford train station, with London St Pancras International station just 40 minutes by rail.
