Budding Bakers From Linden Homes Cook Up Something Yummy For Money

Move over Mary Berry – budding bakers from Linden Homes Midlands have been cooking up something yummy for money in aid of Sport Relief.

It really was a case of ‘On your marks, get set, bake!’ after staff from the house builder’s Peterborough head office spent the weekend preparing perfect pastries, terrific tarts and smashing sponges for the Monday morning sale.

Colleagues from across all departments tucked into a range of sweet treats, raising around £70 for Sport Relief charity coffers.

One of the organisers, production administrator Amber Fairbrass, said: “A massive thank you to everyone who spent their weekend baking such a fantastic display of eye-catching and great tasting cakes and bakes for the Sport Relief sale – and of course to the many Linden Homes members of staff who donated so generously.”
