There are now just two homes remaining at King Harry Park, Linden Homes’ elegant and very popular development in historic St Albans.
Both the remaining homes are in a style called ‘Balmoral’: Each has five bedrooms with three ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom. These homes have their own garage and the lounge has bi-fold doors into the garden.
On the top floor, the master bedroom is more of a master suite: The bedroom has a walk in wardrobe, an ensuite bathroom and a private sitting room area that could also be used as a dressing room.
King Harry Park is set on King Harry Lane, a short walk from the picturesque 100 acre Verulamium Park and about a mile from the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans – the oldest site of continuous Christian worship in Britain.
St Albans is Hertfordshire’s oldest big settlement and has a long, varied and colourful past: It’s been occupied for 2,000 years and in the first century, under the name of Verulamium, was one of the largest towns in Roman Britain.
Today the ancient ruins, mosaics and wall plasters that remain rival some of the finest in the Mediterranean. But St Albans offers so much more than its colourful past and extraordinary Roman relics: Today it is also a vibrant and distinctive city, rich in open parkland, that boasts art festivals, renowned theatres, award winning museums and venues that host major pop and rock concerts as well as an enviable selection of bars and restaurants.
Another major advantage of St Albans is its excellent commuter links. St Albans Abbey station is less than a mile from King Harry Park; St Albans Rail station is under two miles away. These stations connect into St Pancras and London Bridge, Luton Airport and Bedford. By road, the M25, M1 and A1 are all easily accessible.
