Swanpool Homes Shortlisted For Prestigious Property Award

Situated right by the sea, The View @ Swanpool near Falmouth has been shortlisted in the Michelmores Property Awards 2020 in the Best Residential Project (35 units and under) category.

Featuring a spectacular collection of 30 high quality three and four bedroom houses and two bedroom apartments, The View @ Swanpool is located in one of the most scenic areas of Cornwall’s dramatic coastline and boasts incredible ocean views.

Launched in January 2019, the homes are now fully reserved. A third of the properties have been built as affordable homes for Coastline Housing and the development is due to be completed this year, with the final topping of the roads expected to take place in February 2021.

From glazed balconies, vaulted ceilings and full height glazing, there are some magnificent design elements utilised in this project. The Harlyn housetype includes an impressive 32 foot front to back living space with elegant vaulted ceilings and the contemporary coastal design ensures the homes sit sensitively into their surrounding area.

With the final two homes, landscape designers extended the living space outside. The properties included beautiful tiered gardens with specialised zones including a fire pit, seating areas, large patios and a dining pod – perfect for entertaining and relaxing outdoors.

The development also features a new footpath that runs from the entrance of the site down to the beach, providing residents and the community with the opportunity to feel connected to the local landscape.

The Michelmores Property Awards celebrate extraordinary projects in the south west and the winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony at 7pm on Thursday 12th November.
