Staff Get Festive For A Worthwhile Cause

Staff at Linden Homes’ Newton Abbot head office dressed in Christmas jumpers and held a bake sale to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West.

Festive fairy cup cakes, orange and cinnamon mince pies, lemon drizzle cake, an array of Christmas biscuits and fresh cream and strawberry cakes helped staff to keep warm at this cold time of year!

Nigel Palmer, managing director of Linden Homes said: “We’ve all been doing our bit, whether it’s been making mince pies or buying them and it’s felt very festive in the office. Children’s Hospice South West is a fantastic charity and even our £200 has helped their worthwhile cause.”

Children’s Hospice South West, Linden Homes South West’s charity of the year has three hospices near St Austell, Barnstaple and Bristol. The hospices are open to families with children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and help to build precious memories and offer much-needed support.
