Rain Fails To Deter Enthusiastic Visitors To Nightingale Park

Nightingale Park, Linden Homes’ new development at Sarisbury Green, has only just launched and it is already making a stir. The first official launch weekend for these lovely, traditional family homes attracted almost 80 visitors. Another 40 interested home buyers turned up to see Nightingale Park the following weekend.

During the first launch weekend, the weather was dreadful, but it didn’t put the visitors off.

Tina Chalk, marketing manager at Linden Homes Southern said the visitors liked everything:

“The rain came down, but the people came out! They loved the traditional styling, the lightness of the rooms, the windows. Many commented on the open green spaces in front of the development. As always our beautifully finished bathrooms and kitchens were admired. Mostly our visitors gave us the impression that it was the whole lifestyle of Nightingale Park that attracted them.”

Tina continued: “Six reservations were taken during our launch weekend alone and a further two homes were reserved during the following week. We are delighted as the interest continues to flood in.”

Nightingale Park consists of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses and two bedroom apartments that have been built on part of the site of the old Coldeast Hospital.

Sarisbury Green itself is midway between Southampton and Fareham. It is less than a mile from the coast, and has the beautiful meandering river Hamble nearby. The local shops are within easy reach and there are some well regarded infant, junior and secondary schools within walking distance.

The Holly Hill Woodland Park – 70 acres of wild and beautiful woods - is virtually on the doorstep. The park slopes down to the river Hamble and its picturesque marinas.

Not only is it a beautiful location, it is a convenient one too: Swanwick train station is 0.65mile away; Bursledon is 1.5 miles away.
